5 Keys to Successful Facebook Ads Marketing
Have you ever noticed how companies now choose to promote their Facebook pages instead of their respective official sites?
This is indicative of how much Facebook’s influence on social media has grown over the years. And that premise is explanation enough why Facebook Ads Marketing is a great tool in promoting your products and services. To get the best results in Facebook Ads Marketing, here are a few useful tips you can use.
Set Up Goals
By using built-in features like Facebook pages and groups, you can make use of the site’s social networking capabilities. First, you need to set a goal in relation to social media, such as acquiring many “fans” and members as you can. Traditional campaign goals (site traffic, direct sales) will be instrumental as well.
Whatever you do, it’s important that you keep your campaigns definitive. Facebook marketing tasks such as writing ad texts, linking URLs, and doing calls to action should have a concrete goal in mind.
Select the Perfect Image
An option to select a thumbnail for your Facebook ad will be made available to you. Of course, the image you pick should be relevant to the niche your business is involved with. Ads can benefit tremendously from images that are noticeable. It would probably wise to experiment with a few images to determine which one makes a big impact.
Targeting Methods
Facebook ads can give you a bevy of targeting options that will help direct people to your Facebook ads. These include geography, age, gender, education, relationship status, workplace, and keywords. Assign a value that corresponds to each of them in order to engage people who might express an interest on your ad according to the aforementioned target variables.
Set Up A Budget
Facebook advertising is not much different from Google’s Adworks in a sense that you also bid for keywords in order for your ads to be displayed frequently. There are two types in doing this: the cost per click (CPC) model and the cost-per-thousand (CPM) model. The CPC model is where you pay only for each click made on your ads; whereas the CPM model charges you for every instance your ad gets 1000 views.
Each model has its own merits, and it’s entirely up to you which one you think would work best. As for the budget, it’s recommended that you start small. Test the waters first; once you determine the set of keywords that result to better results, that’s the time to increase the daily budget to the recommended amount, which is or more.
Analyze
Facebook has a useful analytics tool called Facebook Insights which gives you the metrics that provide an account of every target variable. The information obtained can tell you how each variable of the campaign has contributed to the “sign ups” made by Facebook users. This gives you an idea on the adjustments that have to be made to assist the advertising campaign.
Following all the tips mentioned in this article will certainly bolster your Facebook Ads Marketing campaign. Follow everything to the letter, and you’re bound to reap all the rewards.

If you have just decided that you will join the Facebook bandwagon for internet marketing campaigns, then consider yourself a little late.
Hundreds or even thousands of internet marketers and businessmen have already realized the potential of this social networking site. And right now, they are looking at what Facebook can offer to them. But as they say better late than never and right now you can make your move and make this site work for you.
Here we list the four important stages on how you can set-up your initial Facebook ads marketing campaign.
• The first stage in your game plan is the design of the Facebook advertisements. There are three things that you need to prepare for this section. These are your destination URL, the title of the ad, the body text and of course the image to be used for the advertisement. All four are important and should be considered well. The title is the first thing that the internet users will see and the body text is the one that will tell something about the product. So how about the image? The image that you will use will further entice the Facebook users into clicking the ads.
• The next stage in the campaign is called the targeting. This means targeting your consumers for the marketing campaign. Would you like to target all single women from the United States? Or you would like to target all students from the West Coast? Well you can do all these things inside Facebook thanks to its search functionality and the filtering technology. You can even target future customers by virtue of their religion and political inclination! This is one reason why Facebook is better than other marketing platforms.
• Once targeting is finished, then that would be the time to initiate the campaign and to monitor the pricing. At this stage of your campaign, you need to plan out your daily or the weekly advertising budget. And since Facebook is big, prepare yourself to throw away hundreds of dollars in just minutes or hours! But the nice thing about the site is that you can set up you daily budget? Do you have a budget for a day? Shoot, the site can make that happen for you. If the experts and the experienced internet marketers are to be asked, the budget for advertising each day can be pegged at around to . This amount is just enough to spread the word about the products or services.
• And finally the last stage in your campaign is the need to review your advertisement every time. Remember that this is extremely important. And you don’t want to have the same ad for the rest of the year. Assess the performance of the advertisements, and make the necessary changes if necessary.
Starting your Facebook ads marketing should not be hard provided that you know the road to take. The campaign structure provided to you is one good guide that you may want to take note.

Question by theodotoug: Who provided ADS for facebook when they launched?
They didn’t have their own ADS when they launched. Did they use Google Adsense like MySpace did? If not, does anyone know who they used?

Wow, interesting question. Usually when you have a start up company, they get capital backers so that they are financed in advance. I think I read that the guy who started facebook came from Google and only in time would he end up seeing profit from his efforts. I think once Facebook got really big, advertisers contacted the producers of Facebook and requested them to let them place ads on there. Good luck on getting the exact answer though.
