Kudos to you for putting this awesome package together, it’s absolutely AMAZING and saves SO much time.

Without knowing exactly what I needed to break free from the contraints of plastering houses nearly every day, FB Ignition is just what the doctor ordered, and more! It certainly ticks (checks) all the O’ the boxes.

This is not about what to sell, how to sell or where to find things to sell on eBay. It’s not even about how much you can make by selling on eBay. Contrary to what most people think, there is another aspect to selling on eBay.

Here’s what I consider to be the number one advice for selling on eBay – customer service. That’s right, customer service.
It doesn’t matter if you’re a hugely popular power seller or just a stay at home mom selling a little of this and that, you’ve got to give good service to your customers.

eBay is nothing more than a HUGE online store. So many vendors to pick from, so much merchandise, who’s the buyer going to choose to buy from? Hopefully it’s you.

So how does a buyer know who gives good customer service and who doesn’t? If you’re familiar with eBay you already know it’s by looking at the seller feedback. But just in case you don’t know about feedback, I’ll fill you in on it.

Every time someone buys something on eBay they are asked to give “feedback” on the item they bought and the seller from whom they bought. They are asked to rate such things as – was the item as described? Did the seller ship according to their stated shipping time? Were the shipping and handling charges reasonable? How was the communication from the seller?

The answers to these questions can make or break you as a seller on eBay. Each time you sell an item you essentially get 1 point of feedback which can be positive, neutral or negative. Your goal is to have 100% positive, or as close to that as possible.

I know when I buy on eBay I want to deal with someone who has a lot of positive feedback. That way I can feel confident I’m going to get what I want as quickly as I want it.

So if you’re thinking about selling on eBay here’s some advice on how to get some feedback before you start selling. Consider being a buyer before you sell.

Sellers get to leave feedback for buyers, too. If you were to purchase, say, 6 to 10 items you could already have a feedback rating of 6 to 10 before you start selling.

Webhosting services should be able to respond to your inquiries as fast as possible. If you encounter problems like downtime and send an inquiry or request to your web host, you need them to respond immediately, or else your website and your business might be compromised.

You might not be able to expect this from free services. You didn’t pay so why should they jump when you say so? At the most you can expect them to have only web-based or email inquiry aside from a preset troubleshooting FAQ page. While these could suffice for minor problems, they may not work for dire situations where you need immediate action.

Only paid companies could guarantee good support turnaround time because they are the only ones who can usually afford to hire support staff to work around the clock. Most paid webhosting companies have 24-hour support teams that could help you practically anytime unlike free services who probably only have voluntary teams that work from time-to-time.

Quality Customer Service

The above is very much connected to the quality of support service. You should be able to obtain a high quality of customer service from your web host. Not only should they be able to respond to you fast when you have problems, they should also be able to provide you with useful answers that can actually fix your dilemmas.

Free services usually do not have customer service personnel who are specifically trained to troubleshoot problems. Again, they might just have volunteers who provide services when they can, but they most likely do not work in an established customer service system that paid services implement. But hey, the free price is right.

Paid services actually hire and train people to work on customer service specifically. They are bound to be ready to help you when you have problems, and they are highly skilled to give practical and effective solutions to most, if not all of the glitches you might encounter.

Free stuff are always welcome because money is indeed useful to hang onto, however there are important things that you cannot really just cut corners about. If you own a business website, it is not recommended for you to get free webhosting services.

You might get something good for something free but you cannot always be sure that you would get what you need for your business. Free webshosting is great for a hobby or family site or something simple. But when you get busy and professional you need to switch to some professional webhosting too.
