im gonna throw you a bone. i dont know if you know alot about books but the left behind series of books(there are 12 of them) is an excellent item when sold as a lot. you can often find the books for .25 cents to a dollar a book at garage sales and you can get 35-40 dollars out of a complete set on ebay. there are other good book series that sell well when complete like the lemmony snickets books.
@LaTootie979 I use auction to get the buyers into my store and have buy it now also. Having a Store helps with costs, free pictures and other bonus’s for having Store. I start a lot of auctions out at .99 some get up there pretty good, some I just let go at .99 cents for good rating purposes, and to get rid of item, that i’ve tried selling several times before.. @LaTootie979 I have a store on eBay and I do mostly Buy It Nows just because I can add the Best Offer option for free. That way my stuff sells at the prices I want and you can always lower your price with a Buy It Now.

also, look for old typewriter keys. sell them in lots as well. you can find them at estate sales or whatever. They go for up to 80 dollars as well, you can find them for less than five bucks.
I can totally relate. I have sold on ebay and on etsy, I sell some of the strangest things on etsy. I once had four stuffed doughnuts I found somewhere along the line, granted they were cute and all, but…I listed them and they were gone in about five minutes. Someone must have REALLY wanted some stuffed doughnuts…Another item I find that sells well are old skeleton keys. The steampunk jewlery makers snatch them right up. They make necklaces out of them.

I came across steampunk on ebay before – I was searching for old punk records….funny that you mentioned that. The remote control lot is a good one – looks like they are dong lots or like branded remote controls and they sell at a premium – I saw Samsung – and also keyless car remotes. Like the posts!
