If you have never heard of Rosser Reeves, he was an enormously Successful American Advertising Executive and one of the first Pioneers of Television Advertising! He was the one responsible for, “M&Ms melt in your mouth, not in your hand!”
Born in 1910 and living until the beginning of 1984, the story of Rosser Reeves is something that could fill many volumes of books. He was a brilliant salesman, advertising genius and he came up with many amazing slogans, that we still hear today!
On the popular television show Mad Man, AMC TV’s character of Don Draper, played by the brilliant actor Jon Hamm, is actually based on this amazing man…Rosser Reeves! You can read so much more about this interesting fellow if you do a Google Search and it is amazing how he has touched a whole generation through his amazing ad campaigns! Back in the day, he helped Anacin triple in annual sales, with the commercials he wrote for them!

He was a man who insisted that the product being sold had to actually be superior to those of the competitors, and he also argued that no amount of advertising could move inferior goods.
