The best way to run a successful affiliate marketing business is to own your own product and sell affiliate marketing products on the backend. When you follow this method not only will you have income from your initial product offering, but you’ll have a targeted list of people who know that you provide quality.

Building trust is essential if you want to make long term income from affiliate marketing offers. Once you’ve sold your own product, you can send your list targeted affiliate offers and motivate them through a limited offer bonus.

In order to motivate your list to take action on an affiliate offer, you should create and offer a bonus that they will receive if they buy through your link.

This way you make the decision to purchase the affiliate product a “no brainer.” They’ll get the incredible product with all of the benefits PLUS they’ll receive a special bonus just from you.

The key to this technique is to also combine some urgency with the affiliate promotion to motivate them to take action. One of the best ways to create urgency is to have a limited number of bonuses available for people who purchase the product.

Here’s a simple three step guide to sending affiliate marketing emails with a limited offer bonus.

 

1. Send an email to announce the offer.

First, send your list an email that announces the affiliate product and your special bonus. Emphasize the benefits of the affiliate product and why they should purchase it.

Then talk about your bonus that you’re offering for people who purchase the product. Talk about why you created the bonus and how it goes hand in hand with the affiliate offer.

Once you’ve gotten them really excited about the offer and the free bonus let them know that there are only a certain number of bonuses available for purchasers – so they need to act immediately to get theirs!

Add a link to your bonus sales page and then see how the offer does.

 

2. Remind the list of the offer.

If your bonus offer didn’t sell out (and yes, you really should cap it at a certain amount), you need to send out another letter the next day. Let them know that there are only X amount of bonus packages available and that they are going fast. Talk a little more about why they should act on the bonus offer and then link to the bonus page.

 

3. Give them a final chance.

By now, you should have sold out most of the packages. It’s time to get rid of the rest. Let them know that they only have one more chance to get this bonus and then it will be gone forever.

Really play up the benefits of the bonus in this message to build desire and motivate them to take action. Place your bonus page link in the body of the email and again in the postscript.

Once the packages have sold out, edit your bonus page to let latecomers know they missed out.
