10 Guaranteed Ways to Increase Website Traffic

10 Guaranteed Ways to Increase Website Traffic

This may sound dramatic but your business lives or dies by the amount of targeted traffic visiting your site. Not any traffic but targeted traffic.

You may have already spent a great deal of money getting a website designed and created and now, low on funds, you have yet to launch your site. You desperately need to increase website traffic but at little or no cost. Explore the following ways and you will discover many ways you can achieve this.

Offer free, original, and quality content on your site. This is the most effective means for increasing traffic to a website; offering people something that they cannot obtain elsewhere encourages them to return and probably recommend your site to others. Ensure your content is fresh and unique, avoid plagiarism.
Spread the word about your affiliate program by submitting it to affiliate program directories such as http://www.top-affiliate.com/ and http://www.affiliateranker.com/directory/ and contacting the owners of related websites.
Create a links page that will contain the links to other non-competing websites in the same industry. This will not happen immediately but as your list builds owners of other websites will welcome your proposal to create reciprocal links.
Post in forums. The internet abounds with forums on every possible topic. Join as many forums as you can, get involved in the discussions and post useful responses to people’s questions. Introduce your website link discretely at the end of your post but do not make obvious overtures to promote it.
Comment on blogs. Search for blogs related to your business or website and read the postings. You are really only interested in blogs where comments are allowed for by adding a comment and leaving your website link you will have created a permanent link to your site.
Advertise your site with every email you send by adding a permanent email signature which could include your name, website and/or blog address.
Once you are established and have a list approaching say 500 names investigate what traffic exchanges have to offer. The basic idea is that you team up with other webmasters, and they send you traffic in exchange for you sending them traffic. Google “traffic exchange” to find those services.
Offer Freebies. People like nothing more that something for free, be it an ebook, video or a useful piece of information. Your giveaway must include your advertisement and your link, spreading the word about your website.
Writing articles, whilst time consuming have the benefit of advertising your website and also can get you established as an expert in your chosen field.  In each article, which you should submit to at least five different directories, you will include a link to your site in your author bio.
Join free safe lists. These are lists of subscribers who have opted-in to send and receive emails to each other. You can instantly reach potentially thousands of people by sending out emails, and you don’t have to worry about receiving spam complaints either because everyone on the list has opted-in to receive emails.

Whatever types of free advertising you decide to pursue make sure that you use ad tracking software. This will allow you to track where your visitors are coming from, and what types of advertising are the most effective. You must also show some patience as results will not come overnight because search engines take time in evaluating sites. However, be determined and focussed and you will eventually see positive results.

People love to look at flyers posted on boards at stores and such. I know, because i always stop to see if there is anything good…lol. Try makeing some flyers to put up or maybe even business cards to pass out. You can usually get about 50 business cards made for 20 bucks. Also, try putting an add in the newspaper. Hope this helps!

Facebook Marketing Tips – 3 Tips Guaranteed To Massively Boost Your Website Traffic In No Time

Need to find some customers fast? Here are a couple of traffic generating shortcuts that you can implement right now using Facebook to increase your website traffic and give you business a great boost. These things don’t take long to set up, and if you do them right you can bring waves of potential clients to your company.

Become a Facebook member When you become a Facebook member, you have the ability to meet millions of other Facebook users. Many of those users are part of your prospective customers and would likely be interested in what you offer if they only knew you offered it. By joining Facebook and interacting with the other members, people become interested in who you are and naturally become interested in what you do. Interacting with your prospective customers will help you find new customers on a regular basis.

Become a member of a Facebook group Many of your potential customers are already on Facebook, and have likely joined a Facebook group that caters to their needs. If you become a member of this same group, you will be able to meet many potential customers. You’ll have many opportunities to get to know people and find their interest in your company. As you demonstrate your knowledge in areas they’re interested in, you’ll gain many new contacts amongst your prospective customers.

Start a Facebook group discussion By joining these groups you can participate directly with the people most likely to be interested in what your group offers. One way to do this is by starting a group discussion or posting something on the group’s wall. Either way, you can pose interesting questions to the group or offer helpful information–perhaps information located on your web site–and use that to gain exposure for your organization and whatever you offer. Being an active group member in this way can bring you a lot of notoriety and help you find interested prospects.

Mastering these tactics may seem like a daunting task at first, but becoming proficient in them will bring waves of traffic to your site and help you find customers that your competition, who hasn’t bothered mastering these skills, will not ever have a chance at finding first. And compared to sticking flyers on cars, it’s a breeze!

Question by Love-A-Bull: Need help please!.. Websites? Pay-Pal?..?
Okay, I have been making hand-made jewelry for a while now and just selling it to friends and family, and their friends and family, etc. I started out doing this for fun for myself, and ended up actually being able to make some extra money with it. I haven’t even really thought about trying to expand this until just the other day when my best friend told me that she knows someone who sells hand-made jewelery through Facebook somehow. She told me that the quality of my stuff is better than hers, over-all, and this girl actually sells quite a bit online. So, she thinks I’d be able to do at least that good if I did the same thing.

I always have TONS of jewelry laying around, I do this as a hobby so any time I have extra time, that’s what I do. As of right now I have about 800 pieces that I can sell. Because I was just doing this for me, I haven’t made many duplicates, almost everything is unique. I am worried about that for selling online though. I was thinking that I could pick 10-15 pieces and post them online just to see if they sell, and if so, which ones people like the most. Then I was thinking I could make more of the pieces that sell the fastest, or that the most people want. I also want to still sell several unique pieces though, and seeing as how I have so many unique pieces, I can just sell the ones I already have made, a few at a time, along with the ones that I am making multiples of. Does that make since? And does that sound like a good idea? I am new to this, so I’m not exactly sure how to go about this to get everything started.

Also, I haven’t checked into websites yet, I am first going to check and see how this girl is selling her stuff on facebook, and then I’m also going to check into how to start my own website. I was wondering how I am suppose to set up a way for people to buy things though. The first thing I thought of was Pay-Pal https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=xpt/Marketing/consumer/Receive_Money-outside I know countless people use Pay-Pal, and it seems simple to set up and use. I don’t know though, because again, this is all completely new to me. What do you think? Is there a place that you know of where I can start a website, or that I can sell my jewelry on? And would you suggest I go with Pay-Pal, or are there other options that may be better?

I am not looking to make this anything huge, I still want this to be something I enjoy and do for myself, but making some extra money with this would be awesome! : ) So, any advice, tips, suggestions.. anything.. would be very helpful and greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for any help! : )

Basically you would need a website set like an online store (with PayPal, Shopping Cart – so that you can receive orders and payment). PayPal it’s a good option.

It’s very easy to create such a website. You can do it in 2 ways:

1. using a web hosting that offers shopping cart – it costs under $ 3 / month
or
2. using an ecommerce platform – you’d have your online store in less than 5 minutes – $ 24/month

Here is an article on how you can create an online store using each of these methods: http://www.businessever.com/onlinebusiness/build-online-store.html

Hope I could help you!
