Facebook Marketing Tips – 3 Tips Guaranteed To Massively Boost Your Website Traffic In No Time

Need to find some customers fast? Here are a couple of traffic generating shortcuts that you can implement right now using Facebook to increase your website traffic and give you business a great boost. These things don’t take long to set up, and if you do them right you can bring waves of potential clients to your company.

Become a Facebook member When you become a Facebook member, you have the ability to meet millions of other Facebook users. Many of those users are part of your prospective customers and would likely be interested in what you offer if they only knew you offered it. By joining Facebook and interacting with the other members, people become interested in who you are and naturally become interested in what you do. Interacting with your prospective customers will help you find new customers on a regular basis.

Become a member of a Facebook group Many of your potential customers are already on Facebook, and have likely joined a Facebook group that caters to their needs. If you become a member of this same group, you will be able to meet many potential customers. You’ll have many opportunities to get to know people and find their interest in your company. As you demonstrate your knowledge in areas they’re interested in, you’ll gain many new contacts amongst your prospective customers.

Start a Facebook group discussion By joining these groups you can participate directly with the people most likely to be interested in what your group offers. One way to do this is by starting a group discussion or posting something on the group’s wall. Either way, you can pose interesting questions to the group or offer helpful information–perhaps information located on your web site–and use that to gain exposure for your organization and whatever you offer. Being an active group member in this way can bring you a lot of notoriety and help you find interested prospects.

Mastering these tactics may seem like a daunting task at first, but becoming proficient in them will bring waves of traffic to your site and help you find customers that your competition, who hasn’t bothered mastering these skills, will not ever have a chance at finding first. And compared to sticking flyers on cars, it’s a breeze!

Question by Love-A-Bull: Need help please!.. Websites? Pay-Pal?..?
Okay, I have been making hand-made jewelry for a while now and just selling it to friends and family, and their friends and family, etc. I started out doing this for fun for myself, and ended up actually being able to make some extra money with it. I haven’t even really thought about trying to expand this until just the other day when my best friend told me that she knows someone who sells hand-made jewelery through Facebook somehow. She told me that the quality of my stuff is better than hers, over-all, and this girl actually sells quite a bit online. So, she thinks I’d be able to do at least that good if I did the same thing.

I always have TONS of jewelry laying around, I do this as a hobby so any time I have extra time, that’s what I do. As of right now I have about 800 pieces that I can sell. Because I was just doing this for me, I haven’t made many duplicates, almost everything is unique. I am worried about that for selling online though. I was thinking that I could pick 10-15 pieces and post them online just to see if they sell, and if so, which ones people like the most. Then I was thinking I could make more of the pieces that sell the fastest, or that the most people want. I also want to still sell several unique pieces though, and seeing as how I have so many unique pieces, I can just sell the ones I already have made, a few at a time, along with the ones that I am making multiples of. Does that make since? And does that sound like a good idea? I am new to this, so I’m not exactly sure how to go about this to get everything started.

Also, I haven’t checked into websites yet, I am first going to check and see how this girl is selling her stuff on facebook, and then I’m also going to check into how to start my own website. I was wondering how I am suppose to set up a way for people to buy things though. The first thing I thought of was Pay-Pal https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=xpt/Marketing/consumer/Receive_Money-outside I know countless people use Pay-Pal, and it seems simple to set up and use. I don’t know though, because again, this is all completely new to me. What do you think? Is there a place that you know of where I can start a website, or that I can sell my jewelry on? And would you suggest I go with Pay-Pal, or are there other options that may be better?

I am not looking to make this anything huge, I still want this to be something I enjoy and do for myself, but making some extra money with this would be awesome! : ) So, any advice, tips, suggestions.. anything.. would be very helpful and greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for any help! : )

Basically you would need a website set like an online store (with PayPal, Shopping Cart – so that you can receive orders and payment). PayPal it’s a good option.

It’s very easy to create such a website. You can do it in 2 ways:

1. using a web hosting that offers shopping cart – it costs under $ 3 / month
or
2. using an ecommerce platform – you’d have your online store in less than 5 minutes – $ 24/month

Here is an article on how you can create an online store using each of these methods: http://www.businessever.com/onlinebusiness/build-online-store.html

Hope I could help you!

Internet Marketing: Facebook Marketing Tips That You Can Use

Facebook plays a vital role in internet marketing. Facebook has become the most favorite destination of everyone who wants to stay connected with their social circle. Business people have also started using Facebook as an easy way to stay connected with people within their industries. However when it comes to using the vast user of Facebook, or its potential to generate millions of views per day, an average business model does not have the section solely devoted to social media sites.

However, there are already several ecommerce sites that are starting to spend dollars on ad space on websites. In fact, there are areas on Facebook that were set aside for advertising.

1.    Right Column and Top banner Ads. These are your typical ad slots. Due to the huge amount of hits Facebook gets, even rotating ads have the potential to rake in heaps of click-throughs.

2.    Facebook also provides ad space in certain areas that are not quite obvious. These are the ones that can be found on the applets pages. Each of these applets has a banner area that is for that particular applet page alone. However, smaller applets may include rotating ads on them. There are also popular applets on Facebook such as, Mafia wars and Egg Breaker that actually have dedicated slots.

If you are willing to shell out dollars to buy those ad slots, you can take advantage of these applets.

3.    Business Account. Through this you can build a user-base of people who will follow your company. However, this structure is not entirely available on Facebook alone.

4.    Connect all of your advertising with each other. In other words, let them interact so people can easily find you through whatever medium they wish.  For example, highlight your Facebook account on print advertising or business cards and reference your paper ads on your Facebook page. This allows you to put all unique information about your services and products on each part of your advertising legs. Thus, increasing your chance to be noticed and draw customers to an even bigger picture about your business by having them look for the other pieces of the puzzle.

Understand that social networking sites are continuously developing. As they progress more unique strategies are made available for you to take advantage of. Be creative and find the means to take advantage of the tools that social sites can offer you. For now, you may use these tried and tested methods that can guarantee to pull eyeballs toward your site.

Let’s talk about Facebook, and all the benefits you can have for you and your business. At the time of writing this Facebook now has over 400 million users. It is because of this that Facebook is nearly as popular as Google ad words for Internet marketers and business owners.

The advantages of having a Facebook profile and promoting on it are the interactions you can have with your fans and loyal subscribers to your business, newsletter and products. Many companies have recently realized this and have created fan pages for new products they are promoting and for their general business. This allows them to interact with their customers and provide additional products in which they already know if there is a target market for.

Advertising on Facebook is somewhat like who will ad words but allows you the additional benefit of targeting your market based on age, race, income level and many other factors. This highly targeting system allows you to pinpoint products to people who would be interested in them. For an example aging skin cream would be targeted to middle aged women around 30s to 40s.

it is recommended to keep a personal profile along with a business

This will give you a very accurate demographic profile of your potential buyers.

For instance, if your product or service is tailored towards single mothers, you could plan and develop your ad campaigns so that they focus only on those who have indicated that they are single mothers in their profiles, or who have demonstrated interest in similar products or services based on their personal profile, communities or groups they have participated, or other ad campaigns they have responded to.

The fact that Facebook has more than 200 million members from around the world makes Facebook marketing a good choice for marketers. However, that does not mean that you should start without a plan. Here are some things you consider regarding Facebook marketing.

Strong Presence

After creating a Facebook account for your business, start promoting it by posting interesting content. Create a thriving community by encouraging your employees to get involved in discussions. The logic behind this is that you will want people to find you through their friends’ profiles and on-site searches. You would want to increase you members ‘virally’ to become a success on Facebook. Remember that Facebook pages can be indexed so make sure that you content is search engine optimized.

Advertise

Advertising on Facebook is a unique experience, because you can precisely target your audience down to their profile. For example, if you want to advertise to Law graduates that are 1 to 2 years out of school and working in South Florida that like pop music…you can do that. Social ads and display ads are the two choices you have. You can purchase these ads like banners with CPC or CPM. You can use them as online banner ads but try avoiding this. Majority of Facebook users like to stay within the Facebook environment, so it’s better to direct them to a section on your fan page. The Facebook fan page design allows you to send visitors directly to a tab on your fan page since tabs have their own URLs.

Lastly…

While Facebook is highly target and cheap, the company is very pick on how they ads to be displayed. They also leave editorial decisions up to individual editors, so why one editor may accept an ad, ano

Question by homer742: I’m unwilling to annoy potential or existing customers, so what marketing perspective is best for me?
My reason for needing to own my own business is the need for integrity. Most of the companies I’ve worked for have perpetual integrity issues, including their marketing methods and perspectives. I do Geek Squad-like tech support, and I have a recipe for success, other than a somewhat ‘beatnik’ attitude towards marketing. My current marketing plan includes:

-Business networking meetings
-Being prepared to describe the benefits of using my services
-A concise Website with free training and well-considered SEO
-Pens, pads of paper and other useful items with my logo for existing and potential customers
-A Facebook page for my business
-Submitting to typical advertising venues like Google and Superpages

I’m planning on putting some money into advertising, but I’m concerned that my complete unwillingness to ‘bother’ customers could make for a very slow start.
Examples of what I consider bothersome (but seemingly necessary) practices include:
-Nagging customers (on the phone, specifically) to allow me to finish projects/do needed maintenance
-Forcing promotion of my business into casual conversation

Any tips, books, or Websites you’re aware of in this regard would be greatly appreciated. Most of the existing materials out there aren’t geared towards people like myself.

I would blog about technical things(shows your tech knowledge and establishes you as an authority… If done right) that would a.) Make your customers call by reading about enhancements and upgrades or b.)Give your customers answers to small fixes that you would tell them over the phone before you decided to come out: saves you time from being on the phone. I would also add a funny quote or pic to it that people would send or link their friends… Whatever draws them to your site and gets your name in their heads. I’m actually looking for blog sites at the moment so can’t help you there, but I do read my friends techs blogs, at least the ones that have tips.

You could even hire a 24/7 live tech if you have enough business where you get several phone calls after/before business hours.

One thing I do is get involved with community. Find a local fair or weekend market and sponsor it, add a booth, get seen. A booth can cost you as little 100 for the weekend in some places, have it staffed and covered with flyers and tech tips. You’d be surprised how many local events would be more than glad to have another sponsor, even if its only 100. Gun shows, exhibitor markets, community fairs, bike rallys, blood drives, school parks and fields, sports teams, race cars/bikes, bands, concert halls, farmers markets, etc.
find an events page in your community or local radio website and get involved.

You also can have banner exchanges with other companies that have related services.
